What is Isagenix?Isagenix is a company that produces health products such as a meal replacement shake that is organic, gluten free, full of probiotics, amino acids, enzymes, and whey protein for balanced nutrition and has weight loss benefits. In addition, Isagenix offers various beauty and vitamin-mineral-herbal supplements geared towards cleansing cells and aiding longevity. Some would argue that Isagenix is nothing more than another MLM scam. Yet for those who have tried Isagenix and found results, the feeling is quite the opposite. People do all kinds of crazy unhealthy things to lose weight, sleep better, stay awake, and have a good mood- but we don’t have to do crazy unhealthy things to get these results. Isagenix is good food which the body is thankful for. What causes problems in our systems is junk food. Putting it simply if the results we get from nutritionally depleted and fatty foods make us unhealthy, then it stands to reason that nutritionally abundant fiber-rich food makes us healthier. Arguing against the product is like telling someone not to eat good food and not to take care of themselves, which makes no sense.

When you get right down to it, people are going to do what works. The proof is on the scale. Yet for the sake of argument let’s examine the “bah humbugs:”

ARGUMENT: This is just another MLM scheme. REBUTTLE: You do not need to join or sell anything to get these great products for yourself. However, if you find that you like the products and what to earn an income from them, there is an easy way to do that. Not all companies would allow you to sell their product without a store front, EIN, and a business license. Furthermore, you get to own a piece of the business, which offers a greater return on your investment than stay stock options at Wal-Mart. It only costs $19.00 to become and Isagenix Independent Associate. That’s better than any work-at-home venture I have heard of and you do not have to deal with inventory or shipping. In addition, Isagenix is one of the most generous MLM’s available, which include bonuses, prizes, and incentives. Isagenix is a great product that sells itself when people see how good you look and feel. Yet again, selling Isagenix is not the goal as much as using it. No one will feel slighted because they paid for and got a quality product. By the way, Isagenix has a 100% guarantee.

ARGUMENT: 97% of the people, who join, will lose money every year on the product purchases. REBUTTLE: I joined, but didn’t consider it losing money since I was buying a product for myself to consume as I would buying food at any grocery store. In fact, at $3.00 a meal with Isagenix (a meal replacement program) I am actually saving money. Plus, Isagenix costs less as a weight loss program than any other program I have been on. [Approximate per month cost: Weight Watchers $716, Nutrisystem $529, Jenny Craig $715, Atkins $948, South Beach $818 and Isagenix $448.] As far as the business aspect, I have yet to see an income from Isagenix, but many of my friends and family do have an income from it. Maybe Isagenix will work for me as a business and maybe it won’t, but I don’t feel bad about that in any way because I am getting a product that I want and that works for me. There are many business opportunities in life and some pan out and some don’t. Finding the right job in which a person will be successful and happy is a journey. For some, Isagenix is the end of that journey.

ARGUMENT: There's no scientific evidence that cleansing by detoxifying a normal person does any good. REBUTTLE: Then I would question the scientific community and charge them with finding the evidence because the proof is on the scale. Actually, the thousands of testimonies of this actually working which is much higher approval rate than most medicines released on the market.

ARGUMENT: The amount of weight that you are losing is water weight. REBUTTLE: I thought this also when I started researching Isagenix and then trying Isagenix for myself. Actually, some people might lose water weight at first as they may with any dietary changes. In my case, I didn’t have water weight to lose, but I did lose 1-2 pounds a week, which is normal and significant.

ARGUMENT: You stop eating food and lose weight? Wow its magic! Hello?! Of course you can lose weight if you eat two shakes a day with a healthy diet and exercise. It's no wonder they lost weight. REBUTTLE: It's true that controlling your dietary intake can help you lose weight and there are many diets that do just this. However, many people who are obese only lose a certain amount of weight on this type of diet and many times gain the weight back later. It is the nutritional basis of Isagenix which allows the body to receive what it needs in a calorie restrictive environment without having the "starvation" effect. Also, there are many obstacles that get in the way of losing weight that cleansing and medicinal herbs can breakthrough. Fatty liver, for example, is a major barricade to losing weight. Isagenix has natural ingredients that cleanse and aid organs like the liver.

ARGUMENT: When doctors start writing prescriptions for a weight loss product that WORKS I will believe in it. This is just the next generation of MLM dietary supplements. REBUTTLE: Dr.'s won't start writing prescriptions for natural medicinal remedies. They are in a completely different system of pharmaceuticals. Isagenix is a holistic product. So, the person who wrote this comment is basically saying that traditional medicine as in Dr.'s and chemical meds are the only way to heal, lose weight, and get healthy again. However, there is a whole other world that exists and works and that is the natural path (by which all chemical meds base their research to begin with.) What's funny is that I have never heard anyone get excited about being on a pharmaceutical med going out and telling everyone about it because it worked and made them feel so much better. I have heard people's testimony about natural God made vitamins, minerals, spices and herbs. Perhaps the original God-made version is better than a man-made chemical compound and slightly altered copy?

ARGUMENT: Eating two shakes a day will get boring and failure is imminent. That's why "diets" don't work, people want easy. REBUTTLE: what is easier than making two shakes a day? No dirty dishes and no meals to plan. Nice. Okay so maybe eating shakes all the time can get boring; however the way it makes you feel and the results you get are far more beneficial and rewarding. Boring can easily be fixed by being creative with your shakes. Adding strawberries, chocolate chips, or coconut for example works. The shakes fill you up so you are not hungry and for those who need to lose a significant amount of weight this is a big plus.

ARGUMENT: Actually you can't get most of these ingredients in the store. REBUTTLE: True, you can spend a lot of money getting all the ingredients, herbs, vitamins, and minerals that make up these unique products and attempt it yourself. However, Isagenix has taken all the research and guess work out of a holistic lifestyle and placed it all in a complete simple system which saves money. In addition Isagenix is free of fillers, artificial sweeteners, processed white sugar, high fructose corn syrup, chemicals, pesticides, herbiscides, fungicides, and preservatives. Isagenix is all natural, organic, and gluten free product.

Finally, there is no doubt that there will be people who are opposed to Isagenix no matter what just as there are those who are for Isagenix. However, until you actually try Isagenix for yourself and make up your own mind, the arguments are no better than school yard gossip. The question people need to honestly ask themselves is if they are still on their journey of health or have they quit that journey and given up hope. I really think that is at the heart of the matter. I would have passed on Isagenix myself if it had not been for the education I have in holistic natural products and the results I saw with my own two eyes- not only for my friends and family, but also for myself. None of us want to be duped or set up for failure and it is difficult to trust commercial claims, which is why we are so resistant to programs like this. Yet, there are tons of testimonies and clues to give a substantial positive push towards trying the product. Take the risk-free 9-day or 30-day trial with an open mind. Then and only then will you know for sure if it is right for you. I tried all kinds of weight loss products and programs with little to no long term results, but with Isagenix I was pleasantly surprised. You may be, too.
